Isn't it fascinating how history is starting to repeat itself? I remember a country to the North where 'war veterans' (some would have been in diapers during the actual liberation struggle of course) were drafted in whenever the judicial or democratic means of resolving things became inconvenient. Ah well.... Maybe someone's studying Mugabe's draft memoirs?
