It's a pity you find it necessary to mention the race of the people you deem to be incompetent at their jobs. It makes you sound like a racist of the old school - and of course you will claim you're not. That may well be the case, but you would have made your point just as effectively without using race as a label.

No, you've missed the point of the article entirely. It's people (to use a verbatim phrase from one) 'selling their skin' to companies who want to balance the scorecard via procurement. They're people of colour. If that's racist in your view, so be it. The issue is one of training and competency. Not just getting someone to do the job because they were previously disadvantaged and it now looks good on paper to engage them.
